Participants of the Belarusian Pavilion at the Exhibitions in Dubai Signed 11 Export Agreements
Participant-companies of the Belarusian pavilion at the food exhibitions Yummex Middle East and Specialty Food Festival, held on November 7 through 9, 2021 in Dubai, signed a series of export agreements and contracts during the relevant business program.
The Belarusian pavilion highlighted products by companies incorporated into the concern Belgospishcheprom: Kommunarka, Krasny pischevik, Slodych, Spartak and Minsk margarine plant. The Belarusian booth also featured the company Babushkina Krynka.
In the course of the business program, the Belarusian delegation headed by Mr. Alexander Yakovchits, Deputy Chairman of the Concern, held negotiations on cooperation under the Food Tech Valley project at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, and also visited the trade organization IQ Fulfillment and discussed prospects for Belarusian products in intelligent logistic centers with a view to further deliveries into the Gulf region.
As part of the World EXPO-2020, the Belarusian Pavilion held a presentation of the concern Belgospishcheprom for the global business representatives on November 10. The event featured almost 20 trade companies and business associations from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Armenia, Tajikistan and other countries. The event was attended by Mr. Humaid Ben Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Andrei Luchenok, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Evgeny Lazarev, Consul General of Belarus in Dubai.
The presentation included speeches of the representatives of Kommunarka, Spartak, Krasny pischevik, Slodych, Gamma Vkusa, Malorita cannery and vegetable drying plant, Minsk margarine plant, Gorodeya Sugar Refinery, Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman”, Minsk Sparkling Wines Factory, MINSK KRISTALL. A tasting of new products was also held as part of the event.
11 agreements on cooperation in export deliveries were signed between Belarusian and foreign companies during the event.
The Belarusian pavilion was organized by Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates, the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai, the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
