Minsk Dairy Plant No.1 signed an export contract for $3 million at the Rebuild Syria exhibition.

In Damascus, during the Rebuild Syria exhibition, Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 signed a contract with a Syrian company for the supply of dairy products (milk powder and whey) to Syria. The total amount of the contract was $3 million.



The Rechitsa Hardware Plant, Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 and Minsk Automobile Plant are represented in the Belarus pavilion at the Rebuild Syria exhibition. Exhibitors offer Syrian consumers dairy products, metal products, a range of trucks (samples of vehicles from the Minsk Automobile Plant are exhibited at the open exhibition area in their original size).
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic Yury Sluka, Minister of Public Works and Housing of Syria Suhail Abdel Latif took part in the inspection of the Belarusian exposition.

The Belarusian delegation included representatives of the exhibiting companies, as well as the Amkodor and Ivatsevichdrev enterprises. The delegates held a series of meetings at the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Homs, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce. During the talks, they discussed the prospects for cooperation through the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries, the possibility of creating joint ventures in the Hassia industrial zone, cooperation in the field of construction, engineering, food industry, finance, logistics and much more.

The organizer of Belarus' participation in the Rebuild Syria exhibition, as well as the business visit, is the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The pavilion of Belarus was organized with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Syria.

The Rebuild SYRIA exhibition has been held in Damascus since 2015. In 2021, 190 companies from 17 countries took part in it, and more than 26,000 people attended. The exhibition is located in one of the largest exhibition complexes in the Middle East - Damascus New Fairground City. Its total exhibition area exceeds 210 thousand square meters.
