Made in Belarus exposition of domestic manufacturers kicked off within the 61st Damascus International Fair on August 28.
The exposition has been organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Embassy of Belarus in Syria. The exhibition operator is Belinterexpo unitary enterprise of the BelCCI.
Attending the opening of the 61st Damascus International Fair were Imad Khamis, the Prime Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic, Pavel Utyupin, the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Karanik, the Belarusian Minister of Health, Yury Sluka, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Syria.
The Belarusian exposition has been presented at Damascus International Fair for the third year running. Industrial, sci-tech, medical and food products are represented by 14 enterprises, including Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Automobile Plant, Minsk Motor Plant, Sohra LLC, BelMAPO education center, Nativita international pharmaceutical R&D company, Medtekhnotsentr RUE, Minskhlebprom MUE.
Damascus International Fair is the most significant exhibition event in Syria. This year, participating in the fair are about 1500 companies, including from Algeria, Armenia, Iraq, Cuba, the UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, South Africa.
