The national pavilion of the Republic of Belarus will be traditionally on display at the agricultural and food exhibitions UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo, taking place on November 24 - 26 in Tashkent. This time Belarusian companies are going to surprise the visitors with exciting novelty products in food industry, agricultural machine building and science. Best practices and achievements of Belarus and Uzbekistan in the agro industrial field will be also discussed during the Agro Forum Uzbekistan - Belarus that will be held on November 24.

Slonim Meat-Packing Plant will demonstrate their new product: cooled meat semi-finished product Beef in Rock Cranberry Sauce. The company Primemilk will offer visitors to taste soft cheese produced under Italian technology from ricotta whey. The company Manrosti will display high-quality SORSA coffee in Tashkent. This coffee is produced under a proprietary patented technology. Dried baby food, therapeutic formulae and breast-milk substitutes will be demonstrated by Bellakt.

The Belarusian pavilion will also highlight scientific developments in the agro industry and food industry, including soil remediation technologies, methods of obtaining innovative sour-milk drinks, cosmetics, name but a few. A scientific booth in the Belarusian pavilion is organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and includes a presentation of technologies and developments of scientists from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus: Belarusian State University, Belarusian National Technical University, Belarusian-Russian University and Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies.

The visitors will be able to see recent developments of Belarusian confectioners: peanut butter with sea salt, a fruit bar made of prunes, dried apples, oats and syrup. Advocates of a healthy diet will get interested in protein milk chocolate with increased protein content and other products by the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospischeprom, – the flagship confectionary plants of Belarus: Kommunarka, Spartak, Krasny pischevik and Slodych.

Visitors who enjoy hard liquors will be attracted by Belarusian whiskey made by Brestsky likero-vodochny zavod “Belalko”. This alcohol blend is made of artesian water and is based on ethnical grains: rye, wheat, and barley malt.

Specifically for Uzbekistan, Belarusian mechanical engineers designed a gas dump truck MAZ-65012K and new models of a cotton cultivator, since cotton is the number one crop plant in the country. This innovative machinery will be demonstrated by the Belarusian production leaders: Minsk Automobile Plant and Lidselmash. MAZ products will be shown by the plant official distributor in Uzbekistan, MAZ-TASHKENT, Lidselmash products will be displayed by Belukros.

The Belarusian delegation headed by Mr. Alexey Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, will visit Tashkent to take part in the exhibition and accompanying business events.

The 2d session of the Uzbekistan-Belarus Working Group for Agriculture will take place in Tashkent right before the exhibition, on November 23, and on the opening day of UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo, November 24, the exhibition will highlight the Agro Forum Uzbekistan – Belarus. All parties interested in enhancement of cooperation between the two countries in agro industry and trade are invited to participate. Participation is free but you need to REGISTER.

On top of it, representatives of exhibiting companies will visit distribution networks and manufacturing facilities in Tashkent and other cities as part of the business program of the Belarusian pavilion.

Belarusian products are well-known in Uzbekistan. The turnover between the countries increased by 4.5 times over the last five years. Today it amounts to 280 USD Million. Belarus exports machine building, agricultural, chemical products, and wood to Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan delivers knitting cotton and cotton knitted fabrics, fresh fruits and vegetables watermelons and melons, nuts, apricots, black cherry to Belarus.

The Made in Belarus pavilion at the exhibitions UzAgroExpo and UzProdExpo is organized by Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
