Belarusian Exposition Featured at FoodExpo Qazaqstan
The national exposition of the Republic of Belarus is on display at the major agricultural and food exhibition and congress event in Kazakhstan – the 23d Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition (FoodExpo Qazaqstan) which opened on November 3 in the country’s southern capital – Almaty. The exposition highlights products of the flagship Belarusian meat and dairy producers.
Meat products are presented by Veles-Meat, as well as Grodno Meat-Packing Plant, Glubokoe Meat-Packing Plant and Mogilev Meat-Packing Plant. Producers are introducing the Kazakhstan customers to a wide range of sausage products, sausage links, gourmet products, smoked products, and by-product goods. New products on display include beef sausage with prunes, tartar smoked on beech chips and other goods.
There is also a wide choice of Belarusian dairy companies: Babushkina krynka, Molochny Gostinets, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, Rogachevsky MKK, Lepel MKK, Glubokoe dairy-canning factory, Polotsk Dairy Plant.
The plants are demonstrating whole-milk products, cheese, dry milk products, ice-cream, butter, mayonnaise, beverages, dry tinned milk, condensed milk and other products.
The formal opening of the national exposition of the Republic of Belarus featured such participants as Mr. Igor Brylo, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Rustem Kurmanov, Vice Minister for Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Pavel Utyupin, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Evgeniy Vvedenskiy, Director of Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Igor Brylo, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, emphasized the importance of the country’s participation in the trade show in Kazakhstan. “The Republic of Kazakhstan is one of our key export partners. It ranks third in the export of the Belarusian products, following the Russian Federation and China. That is why this region is so important for us. This refers not only to deliveries of Belarusian products but also to deliveries of the Kazakhstan products into the Belarusian market”, outlined Mr. Igor Brylo.
Organizers of the national exposition of the Republic of Belarus are the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, regional executive committees and Minsk City Executive Committee, Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The 23d Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition (FoodExpo Qazaqstan) is the only trade show in the Central Asia that brings together technology providers and equipment manufacturers, distributors and retailers of food and beverages. Exhibitors are showcasing their products in all segments of food industry: from product lines and equipment to a wide range of finished products and beverages – confectionary, dairy and meat products, groceries, tea and coffee, as well as diet supplements and spice. The event takes place with support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of the city of Almaty, industrial unions and associations.
The exposition of FoodExpo Qazaqstan features 421 participant companies from 26 countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, the USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, and the South Korea. The national pavilions are displayed by Belarus, Germany, Indonesia, the Netherlands, the USA, the South Korea, and more than 25 regions of the Russian Federation.
The exhibition will be open up to November 5 inclusive.
