Major industry events of Uzbekistan, the exhibition of industry and food products UzProdExpo and the agricultural exhibition UzAgroExpo, will be held end of November 2021 in Tashkent. Here, the Made in Belarus pavilion will be on display along with pavilions of 26 other countries.
These events are a sort of a gatekeeper to the Uzbekistan market, the most rapid-growing market in the Central Asia. The country’s GDP witnesses an annual 6-7% increase. Industry and agriculture – key sectors of economy- develop rapidly, fiscal policy is improving, and structural reforms are being introduced. Uzbekistan is the world’s third biggest exporter of cotton, and the sixth biggest owner of gold reserves.

Uzbekistan gains traction as an important international logistic center. As part of the Chinese initiative One Belt One Road, a railroad is being constructed here to provide for the country’s access to the ports of the Persian Gulf, as well as for attraction of tourists to the routes of the revived Silk Road – the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.
At the same, Uzbekistan falls short of domestic needs in many commodity groups, making international purchases for the total of 20 USD Billion annually. Given the growing number of population, this tendency will persist. Uzbekistan needs machine building equipment; food products – poultry and beef, dairy products, confectionary, groceries, etc.
That is why large-scale agricultural and food exhibitions are held in Tashkent – the capital and the country’s largest city – with support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Council of Farming Dehkkan Property and Owners of Garden Plot of Uzbekistan, Uzbekautoholding, and Khokimiyat of Tashkent.
In 2019 the exhibitions UzProdExpo and UzAgroExpo gathered 150 participant companies from 21 countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan.
The figures of 2021 will excel the rates of previous events: over 170 companies from 27 countries are anticipated.

The Made in Belarus pavilion will highlight the companies of Belgospischeprom Concern, Slonim Meat-Packing Plant, Bellakt, Primemilk, Lidselmash, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and others.
A session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan Interagency Working Group for Agriculture and Food Industry, involving the Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, is anticipated as part of the exhibitions; as well as a consultation workshop with the participants of the exposition in the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan; visits to distribution networks and production sites.

The Made in Belarus pavilion is organized by Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
