Belarus presents a unique national pavilion at exhibitions in Baku
The national pavilion of Belarus is presented at the 27th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition (Interfood Azerbaijan) and the 15th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition (Caspian Agro), which opened in Baku on 18th May, 2022. In consideration of the participation are 39 large enterprises of the industry, scientific organizations, concerns and holdings. The total area of the exhibition pavilion of Belarus is 245 square meters. Exposition is organized by the Exhibition Unitary Enterprise Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Belarusian pavilion was visited by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov. The esteemed guest was met by the chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov. During the visit, Ali Asadov noted the consistently high quality of Belarusian products, and also expressed interest in developing bilateral cooperation in the field of food production and trade.
Therefore, the exposition of Belarus was visited by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze.
The Belarusian exposition is attended by enterprises of the Belgospischeprom concern, Brestmiasomolprom concern, Grodnomyasomolprom holding, MINSK KRISTALL GROUP, institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology and other companies.
The Belarusian exposition will include three stands, the largest of them is made in the form of the 19th century Belarusian city. The concept of the stand involves the work of an improvised bar with tasting of unique Belarusian drinks, a coffee shop with handmade chocolate compositions and a wide range of desserts, a barbecue area with roast steaks and cooking hot cheese dishes in a raclette bowl. Spectacular product presentations with show elements are planned.
The Belarusian pavilion is distinguished by the variety of the products on display.
The segment of meat products includes beef meat in various versions, sausages, semi-finished products and canned food. Among the novelties are beef products prepared according to sous-vide technology and cooked in natural mold by the Mogilev Meat Processing Plant, and the exclusive raw-smoked delicacy «Bresaola» of the Grodno Meat-Packing Plant. CrocusBel presents textile sausage casings and food additives for meat processing. Burgers prepared at the stand will be offered by the Slonim Meat Processing Plant, steaks by the Mogilev and Kalinkovichi Meat Processing Plants.
The dairy segment includes whole milk products, cheeses, milkshakes, curd cheese bars, ice cream. New items are presented: a line of cream cheeses and cottage cheese cream from the Molochny Mir, cheeses with a ripening period of more than a year produced by the Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, a dry mix for making ice cream in a freezer produced by the Kobrin Butter and Cheese Making Factory, whipped cottage cheese desserts from the Molochny Gostinets company, the only sugar-free curd cheese bar in Belarus from the Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1.
The confectionery segment includes chocolate, cookies, sweets, marmalade, snacks, marshmallows and more. Confectionery Factory Spartak presents new types of chocolates, Factory Kommunarka offers Belovezhskaya Pushcha chocolate with blueberry puree, Krasny Mozyryanin demonstrates new types of marshmallows and Krasny Pishchevik presents apple marshmallow. Bellakt presents instant biscuits that stimulate the development of chewing skills and taste sensations for children.
Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman presents tube-filter cigarettes and a wide range of tobacco for hookahs. The enterprises of the MINSK KRISTALL GROUP holding will offer new varieties of vodkas, balms and tinctures, strong alcoholic bitters, and nut drinks. A novelty ˗ organic vodka Belaya Rus made from the grain, grown in the soil of an ecologically clean zone without chemical fertilizers was demonstrated as well.
Within the framework of the joint stand of The State Committee on Science and Technology, the developments of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are presented: solutions for creating new generation dairy farms from The Scientific And Practical Center of The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Animal Husbandry, new types of dry starters from the Institute for the Meat and Dairy Industry, low-protein foods with a reduced content of phenylalanine from Scientific and Practical Center for Food.
Demonstration of equipment of the Minsk Tractor Plant is planned at the open area.
