Petr Parhomchik, the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Ulakhovich, the BelCCI Chairman, and Sergey Chizhik, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, introduced the industrial capacity of the Republic of Belarus at a major Serbian show - the International Agricultural Fair Novi Sad - which opened on September 18.
The Made in Belarus exposition showcases the best products from 13 Belarusian manufacturers.
A number of innovations, including bio-technological solutions for agrarian business, are demonstrated by the institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Institute of Microbiology and the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry are showcasing the plant protection products and fertilizers. A biosimilar human lactoferrin used in medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetology, and food industries is presented by the Scientific and Practical Center on Animal Husbandry.
A new product – a semi-row berry harvester for chokeberry, black currant, gooseberry and rosehip – is offered to the Serbian farmers by the Scientific and Production Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Agricultural Mechanization. Cost saving with this harvester reaches 30% compared to alternative units.
The capacities of PALESSE grain and forage harvesters are demonstrated by Gomselmash – one of the global leaders in complex agricultural machinery.
Sample machinery by Minsk Tractor Works (Belarus tractor) and Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units (light tractors) is showcased in the outdoor area of the fair by a Serbian representative of a joint company Belarus-Agropanonka. The visitors can also take part in a lottery. The winner will get a general service tractor Belarus-82.1.
New products and latest developments in the chemical and petrochemical industry are introduced by the companies Belshina, Mogilevkhimvolokno, Lakokraska, and Mineral Wax Plant. The range of exhibits includes tyres for tractors, agricultural machinery and dump trucks ensuring high resistance to cuts and splits; polyester fiber, paints and lacquers, as well as lamp wax, wax, cooling and lubrication fluids.
Outstanding quality of Belarusian food products, which is well-known in Serbia, is proven at the fair by Soligorsk Poultry Plant, featuring Molodeckie chicken and quail eggs smoked on birch and alder sawdust with mustard, black pepper, garlic and turmeric (the patented technology for this type of products received a number of awards at prestigious international contests). The plant Molochny Mir has a variety of rennet and soft cheese, sterilized milk, butter and cream on show.

The International Agricultural Fair Novi Sad is the major regional exhibition and one of the most reputable trade shows in Europe. Over 600 companies take part in the show this year. And there are 9 country expositions from: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russian and the Czech Republic.
