The capital of Azerbaijan will hold major agro-industrial and food exhibitions in May: the 27th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition (Interfood Azerbaijan) and the 15th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition (Caspian Agro).
Belarus is a long-standing participant of these events. The exhibition company for the Belarusian exposition is Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exposition takes place with support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Belgospishcheprom Concern, and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan. This year’s exhibitors include Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Bobruiskagromach, companies of Belgospishcheprom Concern and other famous local brands.

The Interfood Azerbaijan Exhibitions will showcase food, beverages, manufacturing processes, and a wide range of halal products.
The Caspian Agro will present farming machinery, technologies of cattle breeding, poultry husbandry, crop production, veterinary, as well as crop protection agents, fertilizers, and packing. New this year – a section of agricultural smart technologies: smart village, internet of things, process automation, etc.
The Interfood Azerbaijan and the Caspian Agro exhibitions take place with support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Food Safety Agency of The Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation, the Azerbaijan Food and Beverage Industrialists Association (AFBIA), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The 2021 exhibitions featured 300 exhibiting companies from 28 countries. The exhibitions were attended by several thousand industry professionals: importers, distributors, wholesale and retail traders, farmers.
Last year the Belarusian pavilion in Baku brought together 16 exhibiting companies. It was awarded with “the best country presentation” award by the organizers. As a result of the exhibitions, Belarusian exporters concluded contracts for delivery of their products to the Azerbaijan market.
Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is inviting Belarusian companies to take part in the exposition in Baku. Deadline for applications is March 21st.

In 11 months of 2021 the goods turnover between Belarus and Azerbaijan reached 800 USD Million, which is twice as much as in the similar period in 2020. Food is one of the major Belarusian exports to Azerbaijan. Belarus delivers meat and dairy products, confectionary and beverages to this market. Supermarkets of Azerbaijan provide special branded shelf space for Belarusian products. And the Made in Belarus brand is traditionally associated with high quality.
