The 21st International Exhibition on Food, Ingredients and Food Technologies – UzFood 2022 – the key event in the Uzbekistan food industry will take place in Tashkent on March 29th through 31st. The 100 m2 national pavilion of Belarus will be on show at the exhibition. Belarusian companies will demonstrate their best products.

Exhibition sections include: Meat & Poultry; Dairy Products; Confectionary; Grocery; Drinks; Food Ingredients; Food Equipment; Bakery; Packaging; HoReCa.

The UzFood also boasts a hard-driving business program. For example, RETAIL CENTRE - the only specialized platform in Uzbekistan for meetings of food manufacturers and buyers, retailers and distributors - will be held on March 30th. The event will feature representatives of major distribution networks, including Makro, Korzinka, Carrefour, Baraka, Havas and others.

Additionally, participants will have an option to find business partners at other business events: b2b-meetings, workshops, conferences and master classes.

Besides, the Master of Quality professional tasting will take place shortly before the exhibition, on March 28th. The expert commission will evaluate food products and beverages presented for the tasting. The best contestants will be awarded a gold medal which can be featured on the product packing, as well as diplomas and referencing on the UzFood official website.

Companies from 10 countries have already confirmed their participation at the UzFood 2022: Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, China, UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and France. A collective booth will be demonstrated by Germany, as well as the Astrakhan, the Kaliningrad, the Omsk and the Krasnoyarsk Regions of Russia.

In 2021 the exhibition featured 122 companies from 21 countries. Expositions and business events were attended by over 4000 professionals from Tashkent, 13 regions of Uzbekistan and 12 countries: Afghanistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, UAE, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

The UzFood Exhibition is held with the official support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekozikovkatzaxira – Association of Companies, the Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Regulation of the Alcohol and Tobacco Market and Wine Development, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

Exhibition events in Uzbekistan are noted for their high efficiency for Belarusian exporters. During the 2021 UzProdExpo/UzAgroExpo in Tashkent Belarusian companies concluded export agreements to the amount of 13.8 USD Million, as a result of the INNOPROM. Big Industrial Week Uzbekistan – to the amount of 13 USD Million.

Belarus delivers a wide range of products from virtually all industry sectors to the Uzbekistan market – over 360 commodity items in total. Most popular Belarusian food products in Uzbekistan are meat and meat products, powder milk, whey, cheese, canned meat and fish, butter.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the turnover in the agro-industrial complex between Belarus and Uzbekistan increased sevenfold in the past five years. In nine months of 2021 the Belarusian food export to this country reached 61.5 USD Million. This is a 15.6 percent growth relative to the same period in the previous year.

The Belarusian pavilion at the UzFood Exhibition in Uzbekistan is organized by Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the authorized representative of the UzFood Exhibition in Belarus.
