On February 13–17, 2022 Dubai will hold the Gulfood exhibition – the world's largest annual food exhibition and the major event of the year for food companies and organizations. The previous exhibition of February 2021 featured over 3.5 thousand participant companies from 85 countries, and the number of visitors amounted to almost 60 thousand people from 156 countries. And this is despite the complicated situation with the global pandemic!

The reasons of such popularity of the Gulfood are evident. In the first line, the event takes place in a financially reliable region which falls short with foodstuff. Dubai is a key import center for food products in the GCC (Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf) region, including Bahrein, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Besides, the UAE is a major re-export center, which comes third in the world after Hong Kong and Singapore. That is why participation in the Gulfood offers an opportunity to the food manufacturers to meet strategic regional and global importers.

The Belarusian national pavilion will be on display as part of the Gulfood 2022. The pavilion has been taking place every year since 2016 and it traditionally boasts high efficiency. For example, in 2021 participants of the Belarusian pavilion signed contracts to the total of 7 USD Million with partners from Bangladesh, Ghana, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, the UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Syria.

The motto of the Belarusian pavilion is Belarus – the Taste of Nature. Located in the center of the most popular exhibition hall, it is an annual hot spot for businessmen from different countries who are looking forward to meet Belarusian manufacturers.

In addition to intense work and negotiations in the booths, a business program of the Belarusian delegation will include participation in business events organized by Exhibition Unitary Enterprise “Belinterexpo” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai Industries & Exports agency, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.

Visa-free travel, direct flights, no quarantine on arrival in Dubai and strict anti-COVID-19 measures enforced in the emirate, make participation in the Gulfood safe and comfortable. Still, an international certificate of vaccination makes a trip easier, relieving you from PCR-tests.

A service package for organization of a company (agency) participation in the Belarusian pavilion at the Gulfood includes an arranged booth, access to a common utility space and a negotiation area, promotional and marketing support, invitation of prospective partners, participation in the business program, travel arrangement (booking of hotels and tickets, transfers, insurance, registration for PCR-tests in Minsk).
