The exhibition "Made in Belarus.Kiev" will become a comfortable platform for joint work of exhibitors and visitors: a general presentation area, a meeting area, business and cultural events, Wi-Fi. A broad advertising and information campaign will accompany the exhibition.

The Ukrainian market is one of the main trade vectors for Belarusian producers. In 2016, the trade turnover exceeded USD 3.8 billion. More than five thousand Belarusian and Ukrainian companies are taking part in the trade.

Household appliances, food, cosmetics, knitwear under "Made in Belarus" brand are quite familiar to Ukrainian consumers. Kiev is a traditional buyer of Belarusian cargo and passenger vehicles. Since the beginning of 2017, the Ukrainian capital fleet of motor vehicles was replenished with twenty city buses produced by MAZ. The delivery of another 80 pieces of equipment is planned.

"Our turnover is growing. Belarusian enterprises need to make their way to the Ukrainian market, display the equipment and demonstrate its operation. Our advantages are: price points, reliability and quality. The potential is great, and it is imperative for us to take advantage of this. I think that in 2019 we should reach USD 8 billion of turnover. If we combine Belarusian and Ukrainian subsidies, we will have a chance to increase the supply of our tractors, combines and other equipment by several times. In Ukraine, a tractor fleet of about 200 thousand tractors is worn out by 90%. According to our estimates, each year our partners need to update up to 20 thousand units. So far, we are supplying 3-3.5 thousand. I think the supply can be increased by 3-4 times, "Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said.

The organizer of the exhibition "Made in Belarus. Kiev" is the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition operator is the unitary enterprise Belinterexpo.

For reference:

According to the results of the first half of 2017, Ukraine took the second place among all trade partners of the Republic of Belarus in terms of commodity turnover and export, the fifth place in terms of imports. The total turnover amounted to USD 2 072.9 million, which is 21.4% higher than for the same period in 2016.

The main positions of the Belarusian export are: food products, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, mineral products, machinery, equipment and vehicles.

To achieve the turnover of USD 8 billion, the following volumes of mutual deliveries of goods are offered: food groups of goods, sugar, tractors and truck tractors, hosiery, oil products, potash fertilizers, tires, chipboard, cement, ethylene polymers and others.
